In commit 3db30defab4b ("use correct MODULE_LINCESE for GPL v2 only according to notice in header") in the upstream repository for the mentioned four drivers at https://github.com/DigitalDevices/dddvb.git (plus a few more which aren't part of the mainline kernel tree), the MODULE_LICENSE was fixed to "GPL v2" and are now in sync with the GPL copyright boilerplate. Apply this change to the kernel tree drivers as well. 2018-08-02media: dvb: convert tuner_info frequencies to HzGravatar Mauro Carvalho Chehab 1-3/+2
Right now, satellite tuner drivers specify frequencies in kHz, while terrestrial/cable ones specify in Hz. That's confusing for developers. However, the main problem is that universal tuners capable of handling both satellite and non-satelite delivery systems are appearing. We end by needing to hack the drivers in order to support such hybrid tuners. So, convert everything to specify tuner frequencies in Hz. Plese notice that a similar patch is also needed for frontends. 2017-07-20media: dvb-frontends: add ST STV6111 DVB-S/S2 tuner frontend driverGravatar Daniel Scheller 1-0/+674
This adds a frontend driver for the ST STV6111 DVB-S/S2 tuners. Like the stv0910 demod frontend driver, this driver originates from the Digital Devices' dddvb vendor driver package as of version 0.9.29, and was cleaned up aswell. No functionality had to be removed though. Any camel case has been converted to kernel_case, fixup patch has been proposed upstream. Permission to reuse and mainline the driver code was formally granted by Ralph Metzler <rjkm@metzlerbros.de>.
