2023-09-11regulator: max20086: Make similar OF and ID tableGravatar Biju Das 1-34/+31
Make similar OF and ID table to extend support for ID match using i2c_match_data(). Currently it works only for OF match tables as the driver_data is wrong for ID match. While at it, drop blank lines before MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE* and remove trailing comma in the terminator entry for OF/ID table. 2023-08-08regulator: max20086: Drop useless headerGravatar Linus Walleij 1-1/+0
The max20086 regulator driver includes the legacy header <linux/gpio.h> for no reason, it is already using the proper <linux/gpio/consumer.h> include. Drop the include. 2023-05-08regulator: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Gravatar Uwe Kleine-König 1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2023-03-20regulator: Set PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS for drivers between 5.15 and 6.1Gravatar Douglas Anderson 1-0/+1
This follows on the change ("regulator: Set PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS for drivers that existed in 4.14") but changes regulators didn't exist in Linux 5.15 but did exist in Linux 6.1. max20086-regulator.c needs <linux/gpio/consumer.h> for an enum, some macros, and a function prototype. (seen on ARCH=m68k) Adding this header file fixes multiple build errors: ../drivers/regulator/max20086-regulator.c: In function 'max20086_i2c_probe': ../drivers/regulator/max20086-regulator.c:217:26: error: storage size of 'flags' isn't known 217 | enum gpiod_flags flags; ../drivers/regulator/max20086-regulator.c:261:27: error: 'GPIOD_OUT_HIGH' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'GPIOF_INIT_HIGH'? 261 | flags = boot_on ? 2022-01-07regulator: Add MAX20086-MAX20089 driverGravatar Watson Chow 1-0/+332
The MAX20086-MAX20089 are dual/quad power protectors for cameras. Add a driver that supports controlling the outputs individually. Additional features, such as overcurrent detection, may be added later if needed.
