2022-01-18xfs: remove unused xfs_ioctl32.h declarationsGravatar Darrick J. Wong 1-18/+0
Remove these unused ia32 compat declarations; all the bits involved have either been withdrawn or hoisted to the VFS. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Eric Sandeen <sandeen@redhat.com>
2022-01-17xfs: remove the XFS_IOC_{ALLOC,FREE}SP* definitionsGravatar Darrick J. Wong 1-4/+0
Now that we've made these ioctls defunct, move them from xfs_fs.h to xfs_ioctl.c, which effectively removes them from the publicly supported ioctl interfaces for XFS. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Sandeen <sandeen@redhat.com>
2021-04-12xfs: convert to fileattrGravatar Miklos Szeredi 1-2/+0
Use the fileattr API to let the VFS handle locking, permission checking and conversion. Signed-off-by: Miklos Szeredi <mszeredi@redhat.com> Cc: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2020-01-06xfs: rename compat_time_t to old_time32_tGravatar Arnd Bergmann 1-1/+1
The compat_time_t type has been removed everywhere else, as most users rely on old_time32_t for both native and compat mode handling of 32-bit time_t. Remove the last one in xfs. 2019-11-13xfs: remove XFS_IOC_FSSETDM and XFS_IOC_FSSETDM_BY_HANDLEGravatar Christoph Hellwig 1-9/+0
Thes ioctls set DMAPI specific flags in the on-disk inode, but there is no way to actually ever query those flags. The only known user is xfsrestore with the -D option, which is documented to be only useful inside a DMAPI enviroment, which isn't supported by upstream XFS. 2019-11-13xfs: remove unused typedef definitionsGravatar Eric Sandeen 1-2/+2
Remove some typdefs for type_t's that are no longer referred to by their typedef'd types. Signed-off-by: Eric Sandeen <sandeen@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com>
2019-07-03xfs: remove various bulk request typedef usageGravatar Darrick J. Wong 1-7/+7
Remove xfs_bstat_t, xfs_fsop_bulkreq_t, xfs_inogrp_t, and similarly named compat typedefs. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Reviewed-by: Allison Collins <allison.henderson@oracle.com> Reviewed-by: Brian Foster <bfoster@redhat.com>
2018-06-06xfs: convert to SPDX license tagsGravatar Dave Chinner 1-13/+1
Remove the verbose license text from XFS files and replace them with SPDX tags. This does not change the license of any of the code, merely refers to the common, up-to-date license files in LICENSES/ This change was mostly scripted. fs/xfs/Makefile and fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_fs.h were modified by hand, the rest were detected and modified by the following command: for f in `git grep -l "GNU General" fs/xfs/` ; do echo $f cat $f | awk -f hdr.awk > $f.new mv -f $f.new $f done And the hdr.awk script that did the modification (including detecting the difference between GPL-2.0 and GPL-2.0+ licenses) is as follows: $ cat hdr.awk BEGIN { hdr = 1.0 tag = "GPL-2.0" str = "" } /^ \* This program is free software/ { hdr = 2.0; next } /any later version./ { tag = "GPL-2.0+" next } /^ \*\// { if (hdr > 0.0) { print "// SPDX-License-Identifier: " tag print str print $0 str="" hdr = 0.0 next } print $0 next } /^ \* / { if (hdr > 1.0) next if (hdr > 0.0) { if (str != "") str = str "\n" str = str $0 next } print $0 next } /^ \*/ { if (hdr > 0.0) next print $0 next } // { if (hdr > 0.0) { if (str != "") str = str "\n" str = str $0 next } print $0 } END { } $ Signed-off-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Darrick J. 2017-06-19xfs: remove double-underscore integer typesGravatar Darrick J. Wong 1-3/+3
This is a purely mechanical patch that removes the private __{u,}int{8,16,32,64}_t typedefs in favor of using the system {u,}int{8,16,32,64}_t typedefs. This is the sed script used to perform the transformation and fix the resulting whitespace and indentation errors: s/typedef\t__uint8_t/typedef __uint8_t\t/g s/typedef\t__uint/typedef __uint/g s/typedef\t__int\([0-9]*\)_t/typedef int\1_t\t/g s/__uint8_t\t/__uint8_t\t\t/g s/__uint/uint/g s/__int\([0-9]*\)_t\t/__int\1_t\t\t/g s/__int/int/g /^typedef.*int[0-9]*_t;$/d Signed-off-by: Darrick J. 2014-10-02xfs: compat_xfs_bstat does not have forkoffGravatar Dave Chinner 1-1/+2
struct compat_xfs_bstat is missing the di_forkoff field and so does not fully translate the structure correctly. Fix it. Signed-off-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Dave Chinner <david@fromorbit.com>
2011-08-12xfs: remove subdirectoriesGravatar Christoph Hellwig 1-0/+237
Use the move from Linux 2.6 to Linux 3.x as an excuse to kill the annoying subdirectories in the XFS source code. Besides the large amount of file rename the only changes are to the Makefile, a few files including headers with the subdirectory prefix, and the binary sysctl compat code that includes a header under fs/xfs/ from kernel/.
